The ArrowCat 42 takes all the great qualities of the ArrowCat 30 and scales them up for greater comfort. The roomy interior and comfortable sleeping arrangements of the ArrowCat 42 are ideal for family cruising. And the incredible stability of the ArrowCat 42 makes your time on the water more comfortable and fun.

Built tough for offshore requirements, the ArrowCat 42 is a champion performer in deep water or shallow draft operation.

The ArrowCat 42 also uses less fuel, yields more speed, sleeps more passengers and offers more standard features. So when you do the math, the ArrowCat 42 is a smart boat.

Livable Space

The ArrowCat 42's interior has a spacious modern design with 360 degree of visibility from the salon and galley. The settee offers seating for the entire family and the seamless flow of space keeps the crew together. Air condition and heat are available to extend your boating season.

The helm station has seating for two and ample room for modern chart-plotter screens and provides a commanding view of the entire vessel.

The galley comes standard with a luxurious countertop, wood cabinets finished in your choice of material, refrigerator, hot and cold water, a large sink and of course, lots of locking latch drawers. ArrowCat offers you a choice of two-burner stoves including electric ceramic, alcohol/electric, LPG.

The designer Roger Hill has drawing many different layout that include two and three stateroom configuration with one or two bathrooms. A two owner's layout includes two forward queen berths with individual private bathrooms. Family layouts include a single center line king bed that is open on both sides with a bathroom on the port side and full berth amidships on the starboard. Other layout can include queen master berth forward with access to both sides of bed with stacked twin or full berth forward. This configuration may have one or two bathrooms, the port side bathroom is standard. The starboard side maybe a bathroom or full berth or office. There are many configuration to choose from and the most difficult task you will face is choosing one that is right for you.

The roomy aft deck can be configured to for your choice of activities. The aft deck is enclosed by a glass/alloy door and the large roof overhang provides ample space for dining and entertaining out of the weather.

A large swim platform invites all kinds of activities from trophy fishing to snorkeling and scuba diving. Enormous aft deck storage compartments house insulated fish boxes below (and additional storage space) to keep the aft deck free and clear, while the hot and cold transom shower and a raw water wash down make rinsing a breeze.

Quality Construction

The ArrowCat 42 is hand-built by an experienced team using the best components and materials available from the USA, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

For example, our 100% tinned wire harnesses are certified to exceed UL and USCG standards. ArrowCat uses only DNV and Lloyds certified resins and fiberglass. Our ultra-UV protected gelcoat is made by Ashland (USA) and all exterior hardware and rails are 316 grade stainless steel. Plumbing, electrical, instruments, and appliances are all easy to access and service.

Durability

Each ArrowCat is built with thousands of labor hours. The meticulous hand-built foam-core composite construction can never rot and provides you with the strongest, most durable construction money can buy. Each bulkhead and internal structure is hand fiberglassed to both the hull and deck and each join is made with the utmost attention to detail for strength. The boat will remain stiff and quiet because it is all bonded into one unit.

For long-term durability, the ArrowCat 42 hull bottom is made of hand-laid fiberglass using advanced composite engineering by High Modulus New Zealand. High Modulus is internationally renowned for their leading edge composite technology and structural engineering. With thirty years experience working with marine composite materials and engineering marine structures, including winning America's Cup yachts and luxury mega motor yachts, High Modulus is a key technical partner in the development of the ArrowCat, for which performance, quality and durability are critical.

This unique Roger Hill hull design offers the best of both displacement and planing hull technologies - stability and exceptional seaworthiness are melded with speed and best-in-class fuel efficiency. Combining a wide stance and sharp bow entry with ample tunnel height, the ArrowCat 42 delivers unparallel performance and efficiency from trolling to top speeds.

The ArrowCat 42 is powered by twin engines with variety of drive options from Z-drive, Volvo Pods, Zeus and sterndrive ranging from twin 270 hp to twin 400's diesel engine depending on desired performance and fuel economy.

The ArrowCat is both fast and fuel efficient - enjoy burning 50 percent less fuel and going faster than boats of similar size and accommodation!

Foam-core composite construction and careful resin control make the ArrowCat 42 faster per horsepower than other boats of similar volume.
